We recommend that you log into the site 10 minutes before your appointment to give you time to prepare. If you are using your mobile phone and/or tablet outside of your home or at work, we recommend that you find somewhere quiet where you feel comfortable discussing your health. This appointment is about you and giving you the clinical advice and support needed so we don’t want you to be disturbed. Try to avoid being in a public place or on public transport. We also suggest keeping a pair of headphones to hand just in case there is interference.
We do not offer private prescriptions. Private prescriptions can be expensive, with the cost of medicines, prescription fees, and pharmacy dispensing fees costing up to £450/year.
As most HRT options (including body-identical hormones) are available on the NHS, we have worked with patients and GPs to develop a unique and cost-effective system that allows prescription recommendation letters to be passed onto your GP.as we are an advisory-only service.
However, once you have consulted with our doctor, you are provided with a tailored plan and a letter of recommendation for you to send to your NHS GP. This will include any suggestions with regard to any advised prescription. 99% of our patients are subsequently prescribed the treatment(s) we have recommended by their own GP.
