SmoothSkin Bare+ Ultrafast IPL Hair Removal Device
- With 100 flashes/minute, a whole body treatment takes just 10 minutes
- Built-in sensor ensures Bare+ only flashes against safe skin tones
- Two treatment modes for quick and easy treatment
The hormonal changes that your body experiences during Perimenopause and Menopause can mean that some women experience hair growth in unwanted places. The Smoothskin UK Bare + IPL device is the fastest hair removal product on the market, with 100 flashes per minute. It is suitable for legs, bikini, underarms, and face which means this ultra-fast and effective device does a full-body hair removal treatment in just 10 minutes so you can easily fit it into your busy schedule and leave shaving & waxing behind you.
The key to successful hair reduction is to be consistent with your treatments. Permanent hair reduction is a gradual process that takes around 12 weeks to see similar results to those in salons. Remember to set some time aside in your week to complete your IPL treatment.
There are 2 treatment modes – the Stamp and Glide – for quick and easy treatment.
The SmoothSkin Bare+ is safe to use on most areas of the body, including the legs, body, bikini line, and even the face.
SmoothSkin is suitable for those with skin type I to V according to the Fitzpatrick Scale. It is not suitable for use on white, grey or red hair.
Since grey and white hair do not contain enough or any melanin, IPL treatment will never work on these hair colours. Red hair contains a different type of melanin, which is also not responsive to IPL.
SmoothSkin is also not suitable for very dark skin tones (VI on the Fitzpatrick Scale), as it can cause skin damage.
How To Use:
For the first few treatments, shave any visible hairs so that you do not damage the device.
Once the area is prepped, place the handset firmly onto your skin so that the sensor detects your skin tone & press the activation button to start.
Each flash feels like a warm sensation against your skin.
Carefully move the device over your skin in a steady motion, careful not to miss any hairs.
