Product Description

One of the traditional uses of sage herb was to ‘ward off evil’. Today, the main use of sage herb extracts is to help women get through menopause. This product is an extract of freshly harvested Sage herb (leaves). Using freshly harvested plant material means that the use of heat is avoided which accelerates evaporation of the essential oils present in sage, giving you the best quality product.

The sage plant has a very strong scent, and as you know is delicious when used in cooking. This format is very concentrated and a traditional remedy for dealing with hot flushes and night sweats.

Users of sage extract should begin to notice an improvement within the first couple of weeks, and the flushes are generally found to decrease further the longer you use it.

How to use

15 drops in a little water 3 times daily- try taking it before a meal or adding it to your water bottle during the day.


Tinctures of organically grown fresh Salvia officinalis (Sage herb) leaves, extracted in alcohol (66%V/V).

Do not exceed stated recommended daily dose. Not for use in children or those under 18. Avoid during pregnancy or if breastfeeding.Sage extracts should not be used at the same time as medicines acting via GABA receptors (e.g. barbiturates and benzodiazapines) or if you are hypersensitive to Sage. It doesn’t have any hormonal action so can be taken with HRT if necessary.
