Can I take Health & Her supplements with hormone contraceptives?
We regularly review the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPCs) for 58 commonly prescribed contraceptive medicines, including both progesterone only and combined (progesterone and oestrogen). The SPC is an official document approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and used by healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses and pharmacists. It describes a medicinal product's properties and the conditions for its safe use. The SPC includes the latest information on known contra-indications or interactions of HRT with other medicines, nutrients and foods.
Our results show that there are no known contra-indications or interactions of the ingredients contained within this product and common contraceptives.
