Dr Kate Burns qualified as a practicing GP in 2010 and ever since, women’s health has been of specialist interest to her. With previous experience of working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and diplomas specialised in sexual and reproductive health, Dr Kate has been dedicated to understanding female reproductive health. Alongside her general practice, she has been working in a clinic specialising in contraception and gynaecological issues.
Dr Kate is passionately interested in perimenopausal and menopausal health – alongside her specialisations in obstetrics and gynaecology, she has undertaken study in post-reproductive health in order to provide menopausal women with the specialist help they so sorely need. She is a registered member of the British Menopause Society, and in all ways is dedicated to raise awareness for menopausal health and provide women both specialist help and the confidence to advocate for their bodies.
Her specialist knowledge in the areas of women’s reproductive and post-reproductive health, alongside her passion for raising awareness for the importance of perimenopausal and menopausal health means that Dr Kate is well-equipped to help you out with any and all menopause concerns – whether that's big questions, new worries, or interest in burgeoning areas of research.
